Grant money targets foreclosed properties

Sioux Falls, South Dakota (AP)

South Dakota will receive $19.6 million in a federal grant program to help fix foreclosed or abandoned properties.

Nationally, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is making almost $4 billion available to help nonprofit groups and communities buy homes, fix them up and resell them.
