I think it is a good idea. I agree children are a gift, but STDs aren't. We try to educate young people and adults in general about the risk of STDs by explaining how we have a friend that is a carrier for HIV. He was unaware of this for years. Healthy as can be. However, anyone he slept with contracted AIDS. He now goes around speaking on responsibility. Although someone appears to be healthy, the risk is still there. He said it isn't that he has to live with the fact that he is a carrier for HIV, but the knowledge that he mindless killed some of his friends who contracted AIDS from him even though he had no knowledge of being a carrier.

People have to realize there are silent killers out there. It is better safe than sorry.
