Nina Hagen. Not to everyone's taste, but one of my favorite artists from the 80's. Another vocal stylist. An opera prodigy, she grew up in East Germany (DDR). Back in the day she was considered punk. But she's gone through many different stages in her career.

Her first video (1974) in the DDR. Du Hast den Farbfilm Vergessen - Communist-approved "edgy" pop music.
