When hubby first started going away for 6-12 months at a time, the morning coffee ritual was a hit or miss... then I bought a coffee maker that has a timer and voila... coffee brewed just for me. You can use one of those light timers if your coffee maker doesn't have a timer. Just set it for when you want the coffee to start in the morning... it feels like there is someone there putting it on for you...
