I call B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T.

You can't call something a "dance circle" then get mad and judge how/why people dance. If the arena is for dancing, by definition it is the place for it to occur.

What if the Head Singer starts one of those thirty year old Alvin Ahoy-Boy chipmunks songs, or if someone starts a War Mother song or uses -- without permission -- a family song, out of context?

Are we supposed to become outraged at the perceived offense?

1. Powwows are NOT traditional.
2. The arena is for dancing.
3. If you find something offensive, don't dance.

Here's the rub: you can't call a powwow inter-tribal then get mad about who shows up and you can't have an arena for dancing then get upset about dancing.

It's just hypocritical.
