As for the fellas, theres too many i love to limit to just six. Off the top of my head I say Pac, Immortal Technique, Rakim, Ice Cube, Quik, Public Enemy, Nas, Andre 3000, Mos Def, Atmosphere, K'naan, Eminem, Bone Thugs, T.I. and Common. These are just the ones I consider to have mastered lyricism, story telling or a socially conscious message.
