Is it just me, or am I the only one who doesn't understand the controversy surrounding 50 Shades of Gray? I haven't seen it, and probably won't. It's old hat. The Story of O was published in 1954; the first film adaptation came out in 1975. Don't even get me started on the books/films from Nancy Friday, Erica Jong and the infamous Xaviera Hollander. 50 Shades of Gray? Yawn.
