We're hot here, but not exceptional for us. More humid than usual.

It's making me pine for my grad school days. There was nothing like Houston in the summer. The monotonic weather forecast - high in the upper 90's, 99% humidity, afternoon showers -- and the balmy (read oppressive) breeze off the refineries. Ahh... Feeding the mosquitos from the drainage ditch while standing in line for a plate of brisket and jalapeņo cheese bread at the original Goode Company BBQ on Kirby. (Back in the day, when such a plate of heaven didn't cost $15. Back in the day, when there was a drainage ditch next to Kirby Dr.) Followed by a cold long neck at the West Alabama icehouse.

Well back to my weird day at work, shoving an iPhone into a sack made from broiler foil to test my app's response to loss of signal from the BLE device my colleagues invented.
