Identification of Apache Moccasins

Hello! I work for a museum, their is a pair of Apache moccasins in the collection that I would like to know some more about. They were donated without much information and I would like to make sure the collection records are accurate (I'd rather have no information than wrong information on file). I'm not sure which region or sub-division of the Apaches this style could be attributed to (or if they are Apache), what they would be used for (everyday activities or ceremonial) and who would be wearing them. Also it would be great to know what kind of animal hides were used to make similar kinds of moccasins.

I attached an image below. Any help is appreciated!
