Definition of a Warrior?

Well, I know that a soldier is recruited into a collective military working for many causes that pertain to a country/group. Warriors (Nihuchetino in my language) have a deeper connotation. They are fighting for their nation or group not looking at it from a perspective that benefits the individuals in power but see that they are fighting for the people of the country and that they risk their life so that the people will be safe. Warriors are concerned about forming the future of their family. Looking at it this way, warriors don't have to fight in order to do something for their country/group. They just have to have the heart and the deeper concern that a soldier lacks as the latter might be driven by Patriotism.
