I saw of some of the damage in Lawerence and Linwood on TV. Looks bad.

It also looks like the storm chasers were out in force. That's an evolutionary IQ test. If some poor tow trucker driver has to stop to tell you to get your fanny and your camera back in your car and to drive away from the big honking rain wrapped tornado, you shouldn't breed.

I blame the looney reporters and weather people who put on their North Face rain gear and stand outside in the middle of a hurricane. Some good footage of a reporter nearly getting swept off the Galveston seawall during Ike and every half wit with cell phone thinks their fifteen minutes have arrived.
