We too have been watching this series with baited breath- watching, learning, listening, remebering things that have been passed down. It has been powerful to watch in spite of inaccuaracies and as many have said we hope this will be a tool that will open the eyes and let the stories of our ancestors finally be heard as truth to more than just the native community. We have been watching the show and decided that we were interested in reading the book as well. It was a quick read- less than 300 pages and much of the book has been presented in the series. I am looking forward to seeing the remaining shows, though I know that they too will affect me and that it is important for this to be seen. Just my thoughts....
