Which airport is the closest one to campus? And how do you get from the airport to Stanford, shuttle etc? It seems like its in between the Oakland and SF airports...

I WOULD ASSUME THAT SAN JOSE AIRPORT IS THE CLOSEST TO THIS SHINDIG. THEN AGAIN, I MIGHT BE WRONG. I'M WONDERING WHO IS THE HOST HOTEL FOR THIS YEARS SHINDIG AT STANFORD PW?....LOL.

ON THE PART ON HOW TO GET TO THE SHINDIG, HITCH HIKE....LOL. DO IT REZ STYLE ALL THE WAY!!!!....LOL.

GraZjones 04-06-2007 01:08 PM

I would say the easiest way to get there is from San Fran, especially if you dont know your way around. You can take the caltrain to palo alto, get off at university ave, step out and listen for the drumming:wink: walk yourself down palm drive, cant miss it.

There arent alot of reasonably priced hotels right near the powwow, but there are a couple miles down toward San Jose. There should be a host hotel, but the committee needs to get w/the program and post info:eek:  There is camping too if nothing else...

The cheapest airport would probably be Oakland. If you rent a car it's like a 20 minute drive to Stanford and a bridge crossing to get there.
