Yes, they are recording a cd. We have been getting calls from some drum groups, who were planning on coming. But now that Ignatio is advertising big payout, some of those will be heading that way.

You never know who's coming for sure until Grand Entry Friday night. LOL

Kiyaanii,

Who's going to win this modern day 'battle" of the powwows?

The Utes or Navajos?

From the looks of it, the boyz from Southern Outlawz have been lured away by the Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Nation.

dmn- sorry I couldn't socialize much this weekend, but with 16+ drums ... Heysho and I had to keep things moving! It was a blast with all the drums that showed up!

Keen jams all weekend from:

Thunder Hill,
Buffalo Horse,
Mountain Soul,
Singing Eagle,
Callin' Eagle,
Walking Buffalo,
Sacred Star,
Bow Guard,
Midnite Express,
IVA,
Eagle Creek,
Sun Elk,
Rocky Park,
Southern Slam,
Sunbear,
Pumpkin Vine,
Towering House,
and War Scout.

Those Sennheiser G2s are far better than the Shure SM58s! :shades_sm

Congratulations to the winners! I finally got to listen to all the drums on my way home last night. Warscout and Mountain Soul were sounding incredibly exceptional!

dnm - what did you think of the session Saturday evening when I cranked up the volumn midway through the songs! I know the people on the north side were really feeling it.

That gift card from Best Buy was the absolute best $1.00 I ever paid for a raffle ticket!

Much, much thanks to all the awesome dancers and singers who came. I was shocked and excited and scared to see so many people.

Thanks Nezbah for all your chauffer help. You are awesome!

Thanks Superndngyrl, for sewing last minute. I guess we are family in a girlfriend of cousin of in-law kinda way. LOL It was good to meet you and I'm sure we will have more time to visit and get to know each other....

Injunboy, it as great to meet you. You have some great ideas. We'll see......

Dazzle, I'm glad I had to run over to that side of the arena, or I might not have even known you were there.... Nice to meet you....

Bo Jangles.... I know.... Tooooo Northern..... Sorry.....

Wannabecool, you son is just cute and so polite!

T-Techno, you make the powwow rock! Without you NNF would never have a chance.

Hey Burbs, I'm so glad you came! Thanks. Did you have fun?

Whome, I have no idea why Southern Ute moved their tribal fair to NNF weekend. It use to be weekend after. Oh well, like Darryl Goodwill said, "There's enough Indians to go around."

I'm tired... I'm going to bed... Type at you all some time in the next few days.... I have to get back to the real world and my job tomorrow.
