One of my Favorite is Otoe-Missouri Encampment 3rd weekend in July, last year there were over 300 camps registered and its growing larger every year! Still give rations and still smell cook fires all over the place!

Indian Hills lots of camping there (And its Freaking Hot)

July 2nd,3rd and 4th in Carnegie and South of Carnegie lots of camping going on there and cook fires

White Eagle last weekend in August is a big camping powwow I always smell lots of good cooking going on there and partake in alot of it

oh ya josiah good dances you mentioned, havnt been to quapaw in a while they had a huge campground but outa all those camps most wasnt cooking out just buying food from town and bringing it. there was a few cooking but not many. I just love food cooked over a fire even potato soup tastes even better! Otoe and ponca are good ones for camping i guess i might halfto head down south and check out them kiowas around the 4th

I used to camp there when I was younger, before I was a teen...but chee, it's so hot.

Colony is the only other powwow I have camped at. It's great, breezy, lots of family come in. We use the grill and go to the feeds. The best thing is the horse shoe tourney, the walk athon, and Lucky Star hands out Tshirts for participants. And then at night, the singing is pretty good...I think I just talked myself into going this year....lol

I camp south of Carnegie at Chieftain Park during the 4th my camp is in the Pecan Trees to the south of the Day Arena, we have an open invite to feed all visitors that comes on the 4th and the Toppah's camp next to us feeds visitors on the 3rd stop by!!Lots of camps do that so you could be eating three or four times a meal LoL!!!

I have been to Quapaw a few times, the yearsI was on Head Staff we stayed at my in-law's camp during the day. Lots of camps and I still see alot of camping there! Problem is its during the 4th and we are usually to the south at Carnegie!
