I was told that this dance was to honor my brother Terrry Adams. I believe Adam Adams was to be the Headman. Not sure of the others. I am unable to be there and want to appologize for not going to help this fine family and honor my Brother Terry.
Shawna told me Terry liked this dance, he used to MC for them. I think I got the right dance in Ark.

Well for starters, sorry if I offended you or anybody else. It is true the "Adams" was head man, and Lady. I had completely no Idea that this dance was in honor of the late Terry Adams. What I didn't like about the dance (excluding the fact that it was in honor of Terry Adams) For starters it just seemed more like a spectators event, with quite a few "wanabe's" there, it cost $5 dollars to get in, and the powwow was over by 9pm. Not to mention the fact that the flyer had absolutely no info on it, all it stated was the times and cost, said absolutely nothing about the head staff, and as far as I know, Terry Adams was a well respected person (as I have herd people mention him before) so therefore it should have stated on the flyer that this event was being held in honor of Terry Adams, if it would have stated that, then I think alot more powwow people, espically from Oklahoma would have probably traveled over there to pay there respects (if they would have known about it). This was my first time attending this powwow, it may have been better in years past, and I can see to why he may have liked this powwow, as this powwow in held in a bueatiful place.

I went last year and it is the last time I will go to this powwow. I happened to be in the state and read it in the paper and decided to go and check it out. No more though for this so called powwow.
