I personally have not been to this event in the past, but I understand that it is a parade that tops all military parades.

Various people report that they were in awe and were deeply impressed with many of the parade entries, especially of those from American Indian Veteran Groups from across all of Indian Land that make it down for the fair AZ weather.

If anyone is planning to come out, it's probably best to get to the parade route early like around 6:30 or so because the parade starts promptly at 8:30. Even though I will be in the area (fair grounds), I won't even be close to the starting point.

U.S. Marines of the 28th Regiment, 5th Division, raise the American flag atop Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima, on Feb. 23, 1945. Joe Rosenthal's photograph won the 1945 Pulitzer Prize for Photography.
