If you could attend an all expense paid powwow this weekend which would you choose:

1. Table Mountain Rancheria, California
2. Alabama-Coushatta, Livingston, Texas
3. Prairie Band Potawatomi, Mayetta, Kansas
4. Treaty Days, Yakama, Washington
5. Skyfest, Virginia Beach, Virginia
6. Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape, Woodstown, New Jersey
7. Red Earth, Oklahoma City, OK
8. Texas Indian Hobby Association, Meridian, Texas

2-AC down in Texas b/c I've never been and would like to go down there.

Other than that, Red Earth b/c I'm a homebody and would spend the mornings taking in Bricktown. *L*

Good choices Candae Cane. I would like to go to Mayetta because a lot of good dancers and drums are headed there now. I would also like to go to Skyfest. I have never powwowed on the beach before!

Eyes and I first thought Cali. just for a change of scenery !

But we also have friends down there with the A/Cs and up at Mayetta.....
We tend to enjoy the smaller more laid back powwows !

Table Mountain - just for fun, and b/c I've never been to California.

Or Red Earth - I haven't been in years. Plus, Mom lives in Pryor, so after the powwow I could go visit her for a couple days.

First night of the Northern Ute Celebration is in the books here in Fort Duchesne, UTAH.

The drum contest is stacked!

Early favorites could be anyone's guess, but they all rocked the house!

Way to jam Midnite Express, Tha Boyz, Stoney Park, Young Spirit, Mandaree, White Tail, Iron Horse, High Noon, and Red Spirit!! : ) Finished up after 2:00.
