it'll be like a total camping pow wow...camp grounds are located on Rte 438 near the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation volunteer fire department. there will be shuttle service to and from the pow wow, shower facilities on site.


this pow wow should be pretty good...they got the nitty gritty's all worked out. It should be a good time....

This is a pretty good powwow, I had a great time last year! A little muggy & hot but a worth the trip! Wish i could go....

Grand Entry is at noon on saturday...just evening events on friday night...sorry bout that.

this is indoors, and it is air conditioned...lol. don't have to worry bout being lobsters!

what kind of evening events?? like dance specials or something?? just wondering cuz I'm debating about going to this one or going to new jersey the same weekend.. I just wish u all had a flier with all the break down of what's up.. u know?? anyway.. thanks for the info

WELLLLL....i'm on the committee...and we're not sure still as of what kind of evening events there will be. most likely a social....i'll post after the meeting on thursday.

there ARE fliers, but i have no clue why they're not posted. I took all the info from the flier I have.

Any updates on the Friday night events? I hate to be a bummer and say it but...it would be so awesome if it were only social dancing on Friday I have to work Friday Anyone have any new info to share? Good news on the AC building too! Ilove summer pow-wow's but my kids tend to complain a lot if they get too hot...lol!

BUT NO Southern Dance Categories? such as Southern Straight, Southern Fancy n so on???

yes i asked the same question...but i guess that's what it is. northern/southern drum split...but the dance categories don't have it. can't explain why, but it izzzz what it izzz

I what Bridge are you coming across in Naigara Falls??
I usually cross at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie/Buffalo n it takes abour 25-35 minutes to get to the Arena from that Bridge .

well when going to the casino parking lot for the powwow, crossed at Niagara cuz that was the most logical choice but maybe for this trip I am coming from Sault Ste. Marie and so maybe heading straight down through the states??? I guess I will have to look into it. thanks for the reply and so if I get to Buffalo, half hour from there eh...thanks.

??? In Cali, AZ, N.M., Louisiana, Kansas and Oklahoma for example they have northern categories. Why is it that so many pow wows up north don't have southern categories????????
