Wellpinit Labor Day Chicken Dance Special

Chicken Dance Specials to be held at the Spokane Tribal Indian Days Pow-wow at Wellpinit, WA September 3, 4, 5, 6, 2004.

On Friday there will be a 50 years and over Chicken dance special, 4 songs, $1,000.00 in prize money and awards.

The George Flett Prairie Chicken Dance Special will have 3 go rounds. Saturday night, Sunday afternoon, and the top ten will dance off Sunday night. 4 Songs per a session, non-stop. $3,000.00 in prize money, plus awards.

For more information on these specials, contact George Flett at (509)258-7846 or 258-9079, or Nancy Raymond at (509)258-4485.

For general pow-wow information, call Wanda Abrahamson at (509)458-6500.

I think Guy Fox took the special last year.

The Creator sure had a strange sense of humor!
