Window Rock Powwow June 5-6??

Window Rock Powwow June 5-6??
Does anyone know if this powwow is still a go? Seen it in the powwow calendar but haven't heard anything about it. I called the contact number but no one returned my call. Any help would be appreciated.

nope, I tried to email them also but I got nondelivery notification.....maybe not...hmmmm....towaoc, co is going on that weekend also....

Here's something else that's disturbing I heard....
.....I spoke to a member of Bad Moon Rising. Seems the only powwow they're slated to host in the Window Rock, Arizona area is until the Navajo Nation Fair in September!! They don't know a damn thing about any powwow in June!! Anyone else confirm this with the Host Northern drum? Big Bear.

bad moon was contacted about this powwow back in april, but were still waiting on the contracts, they dont send by this weekend were not going, thats all were waiting on.

Yep, my boys and I are headed up there (towoac)....by the way, do any of you know of a campground nearby there???? And if there is would anyone let us use there shower?? LOL seriously joking .........thanks......

Finally got a hold of the people from Window Rock. As of today the powwow is a go. According to them their host drums are coming and there is dance, no. and so. singing contests. Hopefully it will turn out.

Well I just called the number that was listed in the calender. And the lady said the powwow was still on. Bad moon rising will be there but the northen back out.
Grand entry is at 1 and 7 on sat and at 12 on sunday. Theres a $2 registration fee. But looks like its still on. Oh and its at the Navajo NAtion Fair Powwow Grounds. So its outside ... and its spose to be hot. LAters all!~

Oh ya!
Ya' the Powwow is still on. Two separate drum contests. And The powwow is at the Fair grounds powwow arena.
