Quote from LetsRun.com, Question for Native Americans:

4/4 Oklahoma Indian wrote: "My name is Francis Froglegs, I'm a full blood Indian from Oklahoma. I have applied to be a member of 43 different tribes, and every single one of them has denied me because my name isn't on some roll."

I would love to paste the rest of your quote from this website, but it's full of profanity and I don't think they want that garbage here. The really crazy thing is: you respond to yourself as a different person on this website as well! It seems you only feel good about your profanity-laced opinions if somebody else agrees with them-even if the other person is YOU! Are you serious?

You really have too much time on your hands, Francis! Instead of writing on various websites(as various characters) and talking about doing 187's on people, you should put your time in to applying to be a member of the 300+ tribes who haven't denied you yet. Oh wait, Cheif Thurman has already welcomed you to his tribe with open arms, so I'll see you in the Free Stuff line! Don't be late next month, it's free car time of year!

BTW, just because you call yourself Dr. on your myspace doensn't make you a PhD. Just a thought!

Was that an attempt at humor?

It is unfortunate that some tribes offer more benefits than others, and I am sorry that many of you are in tribes that do not offer many stipends, programs, and grants. The problem lies within your tribes administration. They are not handling or generating money like they should. Also, the initial ammount that is offered to each tribe via B.I.A. is quantified by how large your tribe is. The rest is up to your administration, gaming, smoke shops, etc.....

My tribe (Sac and Fox) has created many new financial outlets within the last few years. One of our newest commodities is a "gas card". All enrolled members of the tribe who have a drivers liscense are issued a gas card in which they use at the pump to get free gas. It is unlimited. You can use it as often as you want and there is no limit.

Tribal members get to enjoy free movies at the local movie theater here in town. Also unlimited.

Not only do we pay for housing, we also pay for gas, water, electric, and all other utilities that tribal members have.

Our per capita payments are sent more often than other tribes.
Most tribes chronologically send theirs at the end of the fiscal year.

We have whats called a "clothing allowance" of 1,700 that can be issued to each member 5x per year if requested, and the best part is, we dont even check to see if you bought clothing with it.

If you chose to live outside our land (service area) we offer to pay the downpayment on any house or vehicle that you choose to purchase. No limit. We will cover it. May I add, all of our financial commodities are available TO ALL MEMBERS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR INCOME OR STATUS. You just have to take advantage of it. If you dont take advantage of it, then its of no use to you.

Currently, our tribe offers so much support, that it is UNNECESSARY for our members to ever have a real job. Then again, many members of our tribe are unable to work due to the physical disadvantages that come along with being Indian. We encourage our members to have a job and benefit the community if possible. From what i've seen since i've been in office, our members do all we can do; and we in the administration do all we can do for them.

None of these benefits are available unless the person is enrollled and has an Indian card.

There will always be jealousy from both sides of the spectrum (as we've already witnessed from this thread alone) by non-card holders who receive nothing, and from card-holders who are jealous that a different tribe gets more than them. I saw earlier in the thread making a comment on the 5 civilized tribes and how they do so many television commercials here in Oklahoma just to show their financial power. Occasionally you will find an authentic Indian from one of the 5 civilized tribes (take Wes Studi) for example. But for the most part, all though I respect the 5 civilized tribes, they do not portray the rich tradition of uncivilized tribes such as the one I govern. No matter how much adults ridicule the 5 civilized tribes on a daily basis, I still hear children moan and complain about how they wish their parents would have enrolled them in a different tribe that had more money. Our tribe got tired of that pretty fast, thats why we installed a new rule. Once you disembark from the tribe, you can't come back. Our tribe is able to give such a large ammount of money to each member, because we dont have a gazillion members like the Cherokee or Choctaw or Seminole or Chickasaw does.
FYI, the Creek Nation is the most authentic and indigenous and primative of the 5 civilized tribe.

The theme of my lecture was to emphasize the diversity of each tribes resources, and display only SOME that mine has to offer; all while stating the prominence and importance of having the card, which I have so willing helped the thread-starter receive.

As a piece of advice, to all jealous members of other tribes, if you are unable to change tribes and enroll yourself in the tribe with more money, and you have suggestions for making your tribew more of commercial wealthy powerhouse or corporate raider, dont hesitate to forward those suggestion to your tribes development committee.

Aho

Starring Cherokee Champion as:

Redskin4ever
PWProfessional
Chief Thurman

This amazing one person show has captivated audiences from New York to San Diego with its gripping and tragic tale of an Indian gone wrong. Cherokee Champion gives a convincing performance of a broken Indian whose only hope of happiness is getting a card that says they are an Indian. The role is beautifully played by Cherokee Champion who convinces audiences that they really are an Indian.

The counterpoint personality of Redskin4ever, also played by Cherokee Champion, juxtaposes the have nots with the haves of Cherokee Champion's character's role. With a heartbreaking performance by Redskin4ever, the character shows just how tragic the life of today's suburban kids really are.

The gruff and crusty character of Chief Thurman holds no punches and hits on even more stereotypes that follow Cherokee Champion's life.

PWProfessional plays the voice of reason in response to the many voices played by Cherokee Champion, the character brings it all home in a stirring oration about picking yourself up when the voices in your head start to crowd you out.

You can catch performance daily and with two shows in the evening. Tickets are priced according to your cynicism but well worth the going for the skeptic seats, such close encounters with the characters are a must see!

This is the feel bad play of the year!

Ya know, this is getting pretty crazy here...my own personal life-coach shaman, the Honorable E.Z. Daymunnie, said the CDIB was made for man, but man was not made for the CDIB....hmmmm.

I smell a coup brewing... or a mutiny or something that ends in the fearless leader being assassinated and throne taken over by someone who is more awesome than anyone else...

This thread is almost as entertaining as some of the crystal twinkie threads. :)

Wow, this topic is so strange! Fake names, tribal chiefs, very entertaining!

I just don't understand why a tribal chairman would waste his time writing and responding to posts for a person they've never met? I would be interested to hear a Sac & Fox tribal member verify if all these claims are accurate.

So now we have Cherokee Champion, Redskin4ever and Chief Thurman all being played by same person? I can't wait to see who is created next, definitely bringing a little entertainment to my day job!
