Looking for Cherokee family
I have been researching for over 20 years and have found some information on my grandmothers side of the family. It is 5 generations back, so I cannot enroll, but I still want to know more of my heritage. I also have Cherokee on my grandfathers side, but once again it is way back there. Has anyone ever heard the name Morning Natanoah/Nantanoah. She married Woodard Fouch/Foutch in 1830 and had several children. My line is from her daughter Mary Louvinia Fouch. I am familiar with the book about her and her husband, but it is fiction, based on few facts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You can find more information about my family tree on myheritage.com Just search Morning Natanoah and you will find my tree along with more with better details.

Dances With Fat Chicks
i tell you as i tell everybody...
if you are cherokee it would not be hard to learn/trace as they gotta be the most documented people in the world (next to royalty)
and from there look up their website and go to one of their public events and check out their cultural center....
THEN come back and share your experience.......
meet people....befriend them.....mouth shut and eyes/ears open
thats the only way
