Dwayne and Duane

I think one of the most coincidental things that happened to me this year was that I decided to start dancing and contesting again.

So I went to an East Coast powwow and danced against Dwayne Harris.

Two weeks after that I went to a west coast powwow and danced against Duane Harris.

Hmmmm? *L

Both Dwayne and Duane won first. Do you know Dwayne and Duane?

Wouldn't it be ironic if they met someday ... and tied?

I've known the east coast Dwayne (lol) somewhere between 15 to 20 years. As a young man, he was always very respectful. Last time I saw him was at Morongo when Stoney Creek took second. I was standing nearby when he was gifting another young man a feather. Dwayne, along with the rest of SC have always treated my son and myself with respect.

If he beat you...you got beat by a good man!

P.S. Dwayne, if you read this, Joe is looking for you.

I've never met the west coast Duane.

JD,

Yeah I got beat by both Dwayne and Duane. But I don't mind. I am just glad I got in there, since I am just starting up again.

The other Duane Harris is from NM. He is equally a good guy. I have hung out with them both.
