New Regalia

Hey, ya'll!

Back on the site and grateful to see so many old names still present and accounted for.

I wanted to ask for ya'lls insight as I have recently become the recipient of a set of Straight Dance regalia. Although I am a Gourd Dancer and danced Northern Traditional as a kid, I am new to this style of dance.

What can I do, beyond the obvious research, prayer, observing, etc., to make sure I honor this set beautiful outfit in the correct way?

Perhaps you might consider directing your question toward the person from whom you obtained the set of dance clothes.
