Backing Beadwork on Satin cloth

Aniin I have a question on what glue to use for backing bead work.. I am getting ready to finish my beaded appliqué vest and i did it on Satin cloth. I know silly right sense its so thin and it wasn't easy lol... but i figured putting clear tape on the back while stretching it helped a lot for beading.. But my question is whats a good glue that won't bleed through I was thinking of silicone any ideas if that will work? I heard of goop glue but i am worried about how thin the satin is... Please let me know thank you.. Miigwetch.

Don't use glue! And I guess it's too late to tell you not to use tape.

You can fuse some wonder under or heat&bond to more satin, or another material - calico is always a nice backing, then fuse that to the back of your beaded vest and finish the edges.

Yes! If your edges aren't finished yet, cut it even with the satin part, then finish the edges together.

If you edges are already finished, cut the fusible stuff to the size of the satin, then you can iron that on the backing material and cut that a little BIGGER. Then fold it over, iron it in place, then iron the whole thing to the satin vest, and whip stitch the edge of the backing to the inside of the vest.
