Question beaded belt question

Hi everybody! I'm working on a lazystitched belt right now & am a little over 1/2 way through this project. My question is : Would it be better to attach the pellon to my backing & use grommets, or turn the beadwork into a sleeve & slide on a belt blank, with holes punched for ties?

What are your thoughts about this?

Good to see you back!! I think either way would look nice. If it were me, I'd probably use your first method. Grommets are nice and neat.

Id use the sleeve method, because belts tend to wear and break and if your beadwork is on it, then the beadwork is not useable also.
Offtopic but I have a belt with a whole bunch of mirrors glued onto it, just an idea if you ever want to make another to match outfits.
