I am curious.

What looked Joe's Dad like wearing the yellow cuffs and the regalia to which it belonged?

Good looking, I hope. Hm, may be you competed in the dance arena, teasing each other and

When your time of beading is approaching, Wardancer will be a very good teacher.

If he doesn't like your beadwork, why is he wearing the ruby mocassins you made him?

I could comprehend that he gave away the cuffs to his son but not when he does not really like you beadwork. Than he would be punishing his son. That can not be.

You're thinking too much. Indian way is if you have something, and someone likes it, and if it's within reason, you honor that person by giving it to them. It is saying, "I know you will respect the item because it was a gift to you".

On the other side, it is honoring the creator of the item. It is saying someone likes your artistry and craftsmanship. Remember. Someone can design an item, but the crafter creates the item.

Now...wardancer and I communicate by phone when it's time to make a piece. There is much respect for wardancer's craftsmanship. Had I not liked his work, the yellow cuffs would never have been made.

What you read is not always how it is.

As far as I can see, and I am still a little bit cross-eyed, I need to polish on teasing in your ways it seems and a lot of polishing most probably.

What I see in writing and emojis are two "Indianer" who tease each other and know each other for many years in their familiar ways.

You surely remember the ruby mocassins and the question of fashionista.

By the way, You never would have given the yellow cuffs to your son if you would not appreciate them or wardancers work. What you write in the first paragraph is what I thought.

My error to send you on a wrong path of evaluation.

LOL, I enjoy reading yours and wardancers posts.
