I agree with all the names you listed, but I won't agree the order you have listed. And I seen about 90% of them dance. Let me add my top five in my ranking. 1) Tyrone Head, 2) Gordon Lasley, 3) Saunders BearsTail, 4) Murphy Sitting Crow, 5) Elmer Junior White. I have afew more that didn't make your list. i.e. Jim Massey, Damen Brady, Roy Crazy Horse Bison, Randy Moore, Terry St John and the best today, his younger bro. Tonch.

This summer we will honor one of the greatest Fancy Feather Dancers of all-time. He was a champion in the 70's, 80's & 90's in both Southern & Northern. During the Shoshone-Bannock Festival in Fort Hall, ID we will honor the late Phillip Kaiyou, Jr. I have never seen anyone dance as fast, smooth and effortless as "Smiley". He was an original American Indian Dance Theater member and one of the most creative innovators of the modern era. He was the originator of many maneuvers that are still tried today. Phillip we thank you for honoring the people and Our Creator by sharing the gift of dance. You will always be remembered.
