aww man my brain cant make up its mind,it just started smoking... soo i guess smokeytown gurls

Smeshigaud 05-08-2004 07:19 PM

Definitely the Smokeytown Girls!

They are both good singers, it is up to the individual what style they like in a backup singer. I prefer smokeytown ladies' powerful sound, complimenting the men very well, they've won a few canary contests in their time :D

thats a tuffy. I think if you had bout 5 Kits to the 5 or 6 Smokey Town girls I would have to say KIT!!!

KeetersCAT 05-09-2004 04:55 PM

ANY of the Smokeytown girls ANYDAY!

Kit sounds way better by herself than those Smokytown gurls put together, just imagine if there were 4 or 5 Kits.

Kit(of Bear Creek) vs. The Smokeytown ladies
I've heard em both... and they all sound awesome... but I gotta go with "KIT" on this one.. :) I was a little disappointed that she didn't make with BC boyz to ASU, but they still rocked!

If you have been around powwowing for a long time, when the smokeytown ladies first started singing, the eldest daughter sang by herself for the first couple of years and still sounded excellent doing it all by herself, she is on a couple of their early recordings. Awesome!

The Smokey Town gyrliez fo sho. they can sing man, makes me say ooh every time i hear them. keep up the excellent singing gyrls. :ridinghor :ridinghor

Smokey Town Girls!!!!!! Cheyanne sang by herself for a few years and sounded awesome, Can only think of 1 or 2 other singers that can hang with Kit alone.

Nasal Back ups
Smokeytown's Girls are too nasal.

Yeth, Jaimthe.

Pleathe exthplain.

BTW, Smokeytown girls sound great, as does kit.

native_doll06 05-13-2004 02:43 PM

Ima have to go with the Smokeytown Chicks

The_HULK 05-16-2004 02:23 PM

They are both REALLY good, but seeing as Kit is one person and is being compared to a group of ladies, I think that deserves respect.

:Thumbs :Thumbs :Thumbs

Good job ladies!

sweet_singin_sista 05-31-2004 07:28 PM

Groups VS Individual...hmmm???
Kinda not fair to compare a group of ladies to one single woman. As a group the Smokeytown gurls sound sweet together. And as for someone (Kit) kicken out them songs alone she sounds just as sweet by herself. No comparison here!! Keep It Up Gurlz..

esabun 06-17-2004 07:07 PM

if u have to ask what nasal means, you dont know enough about singin to judge

FancyFemale49 07-05-2004 03:43 PM

my votes for kit
Hmmm honestly i feel that if a back up singa is good by herself or wit other ppl...dont make no difference. Good is good and bad and bad. individual vs a group they dont judge on how many back up singas you got...the question comes down to what the judges think of you (one person or group) at that particular time and song...Kit is my final answer

ndn_lady 07-06-2004 06:08 PM

They're all good ....BUT gotta respect KIT for even being compared to a whole group of singaz.
She can blast by herself and makes BC sound even better.
