Song resources?

Hello! Can anyone recommend some good sources for learning pow-wow songs? I'm a music education student and would love to find a way to teach either Northern or Southern style songs to my future students, but I'm not sure where to begin. We used to have a professor here who taught a pow-wow drumming ensemble (I think he was a fancy dancer), but he left last year before I took any of his classes.

I would really appreciate help/advice. Thank you.

pow,

You might check the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM. They used to have a class for credit on powwow singing.
