I have a fringed half shawl with applique on it which I carry most of the time. But when I am dressed to impress, I bring out my wool blanket with the beaded strip on it.

Making my first regalia

For the fringe on Regalia and/or shawl is it ok to use yarn instead of ribbons or shawl fringe?

I'm not sure that would be a good idea. It doesn't have the weight to sway, and static electricity could make that tricky.

What to do with one yard of beautiful wool cloth?

hi All,
Till now I have been carrying a full size shawl with long fringe, however I was given a really beatiful light wool but only a yard of it. I am about 5ft 8 inches and I was thinking about a carrying blanket, what would be a good measurement for it?
