Dang Noodlz ........ Coyot_,

I thought the term "mucking" was only used inside at the card tables of the Foxwoods Casino?

They sho' do ...

"Mucking" is a poker term, according to the commentators of the World Series of Poker. I watch it all the time.

They even had real Indians perform when it got down to the final two Texas Hold'em tournament playaz!

They really made me proud!

uh,

do you have another definition for mucking?

Not to mention any names, but on the opening song, a well known head singer lost his partial denture and it fell to the floor. With a straight face, he slowly picked it up and put it in his pocket. The surrounding crew were all trying not to laugh, but there was a whole lot of snorting and hands covering the mouths. Somehow, they finished the song.

I was singing at this 49 one time (think about that?).

It was cold outside and someone built a bonfire. So with the light from the fire you could see everyones faces.

Well, we were all huddled around the drum singing one tune after another, when I noticed this girl right behind me singing her heart out.... with her eyes closed.

*hmmmm?

Then whome did something mean....

I stuck my drumstick inside her mouth - very slowly and pulled it out - very slowly ...

and she didn't even notice because it was wide open!

..... so I did it again!

And then the whole crowd busted out laughing!!!

She opened her eyes, looked around saying, "What? ..... What?"

My drum group was performing at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival a few years ago- and we were trying to be really professional and proper and stuff - and the biggest singer we got prolly weighs in around 380, goes and breaks a metal chair right during the middle of the song. Now im not talkin about just coming off the hinges, im talkin about the whole bottom being broke off. he falls and busts his azz right on the stage. we all crack up histerically!

Another one-we went down to hollywood this year for the seminole tribal fair. I had made reservations for 4 rooms and told the hotel that we wouldnt be getting in untill thursday morning, but have the rooms ready cuz wed be driving all night. So needless to say-we get there and they dont have the rooms ready. hours go by and the rooms arent ready. so myself and another singer decide to protest. we got some blankets and pillows out of the van and then laid down infront of the hotel lobby entrance. it was sooooo funny-everybodies reaction to us just laying on the contract. we got all of it on video too.

these are just a few of many- i could write a small novel lolol

I'm gonna throw a bit of a curve ball in here with a memory I'll keep with with me...even when I'm with the Creator.

DC, 2005, I was singing w/ Black Bear. Sometime during the middle of the Pow Wow, I would up next to "Grandpa". I hadn't been too long made a set of sticks w/ a yellow fiberglass rod. I hadn't taped the handle, but the stick was a nice weight, good length, etc. "Grandpa" leaned over and said, lemme see your stick. So, I handed it to him as I asked if I could take a look at one he had made. He tapped the drum a time or two, shook the stick a couple of times and nice, faint smile came over his face as if to show his approval. He rares back and says, "Nice stick. Who made your stick?" I explained to him how I had and where I had gotten the rod from. He proceeded to tell how that would've been a nice stick to use out in Oklahoma...again, asking me if I had been and hounding me to go! A few minutes later he leans over and says, "I'll trade ya a stick." I grinned from ear to ear and asked, "You want that one?" I didn't want to give it up, but, he was my "Grandpa"...an elder...I couldn't say "no". So, I took a deep sigh and nodded just before he handed me his stick bag.

To this day, not only do I have a photo of he and I sitting at the drum during one of the songs, but I also have probably one of his last few sticks. It is very special to me and I now keep it with me closer than ever before.

This story happened a long time ago, but it sticks out in mind every time I sing. I was sitting in with a group somewhere and there was this Kiowa guy singing, and he was wild with his stick. He almost hit one of the lady singers a couple times, and she was getting P.O'D and she was like I am going to grap his stick if he does that crap again. Well long story short he got wild again and she graped his stick and pulled back on it. His face had a look of shock, we all tried not to crack up. But when that song was done, we were rolling out of our chairs and stuff.
