Native Artists on upcoming episode of Craft in America
Photographer Cara Romero, Chemehuevi, and potter/printmaker Diego Romero, Cochiti Pueblo, are among the featured artists in an upcoming episode of Craft in America on PBS.
Craft in America -- Identity Cara Romero uses digital photography to explore the range and complexity of modern indigenous reality and identity. Cara Romero Photography Everywhen: Indigenous Photoscapes at Peters Projects of Santa Fe Diego Romero draws on Cochiti and Ancient Greek techniques and motifs, combined with narrative graphic style of comic books, to explore modern Native reality.
