Otter Turban Help

I'm currently making my first otter turban and the only help I need right now is how to keep the feather or plume inside the turban without falling out or moving. Any suggestions and help would greatly be appreciated. Thank You

Take a square of leather and sew it in the inside all sides except for the top. Sew the feather in and then sew the top up with space for the feather. I usually wrap mine by bending a leather lace so it has a loop, wrapping the leather lace on quill with sinew. Then I cut a piece of felt or other cloth big enough to fit around the leather just before the loop and sew it with the sewing on the back. leather loop should start and end where the fluff starts past the quill. Hope that helps! Have a good one!
