Backwards dancing, when ok and not ok
Boozhoo!! It has been many many years since I've danced and now my daughter is a fancy dancer. Well the other day she asked why jingle and traditional dancers don't dance backwards and fancy shawlers do. I told her what I was told, that in life we do not go backwards only straight with zig zags here and there. She then asked why it is ok for fancy shawlers to do it. I could use some insight into this before I tell her something the will stay in her heart forever about her style. Mii gwetch
