Hello everyone. I was looking for information on here about cleaning beadwork. I would just like to know how you all clean yours. Do you have any tips on how to keep it looking the way it did when it was new? I really appreciate your input.
Much respect from ravinsisi:Chatter

First, gently brush your beadwork with an old toothbrush to loosen the dirt. Then gently vacuum it off. Put a old piece of nylon stocking/pantyhose over the nozzle with a rubberband so you don't suck up any loose beads.
For grime that's more stuck-on, I use Q-tips or a small cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol to wipe the beads. Rub this over your beads. Just don't get the alcohol on the backing or on the threads. Its for bead surfaces only. It dissolves oil but also dries fast. |
