Yeah, I'm supposed to be having some grilled burgers tomorrow. Any time of the year is good for grilling--as long as you can keep it out of the snow.LOL

Snow is ok, as long as it isn't yellow or brown:thumbs_do

My ex thought I was crazy. No way was I goona cook that in the oven though and my Sgt came over for dinner and brought them with him. So who was I too wimp out and not cook them on the grill. After that. I cook year round on the grill. Just have to make quick trips out to check the meat and hurry back in the house LOL

*laffs* I keep telling the insurance company I really do -need- that snowmobile conversion kit: it's a quality of life issue, yeah? The least they could do is get me some chains for mah wheelz :-P

In the meantime, I'll buy the meat if someone can grill it :-)

Spotted Eagle- We still grill year round here.. the grill is on the front porch though. In fact tonight for the hubby I'm grilling tbone steaks and lobster tails cause he's my valentine ;)

Josiah.. you are making me deathly hungry and I'm having to wait another hour to eat because I have to go to the clinic for a fasting blood draw... DANGIT another thread hijacked by food ROFLMAO!... OH wait... it was about food to begin with LOL!
And you can grill beans.. think two mess screens held together at the sides, but I would suggest boiling them first.

But better than a grill, I like campfire cooked meat! Might be just a bit blackened and crispy on the edges, but the meat gets so much better flavor from that wood burning! And I like to marinade it in teriyaki for about 24 hours before hand.

OH I have to get out of this thread or I'm not going to make it to my appointment....

I have heard that one before the coke helps break down the meat
Of course slow and wet will do the same thing
Keep it clean people!!!
I am talking about wrapping in foil and slowly cooking it

I do a dry rub on Brisket which includes
Kosher salt
Garlic and Rosemary
then wrap it in foil and cook it for at least 8 hours at 250 degrees
Key thing is dont open the pouch at all
