Longhouse placed at NC State Capitol during Native American Month

Hey, here is a link to the a photo gallery slide show about a longhouse that was built on the NC State capitol during the month of November. Go to http://www.wral.com/news/index.html and then look for photo galleries - pretty cool.

Great pictures. I stopped by there on Saturday, but could not stay very long, not near long enough for me.. even if it was cold. (I had house guest to get back too.) There was dancing also.

There is also a Native American exhibit at the Museum of History, that will be showing until May. I have not been yet but, I have been planning on getting there soon.

Since November is Native Heritage month, I think it was great having the longhouse set up on the capital grounds.
