Tracking Kerry

Well since we know what we got in Bush lets see who Kerry is.
So this thread will be updated with whatever Kerry does or has done in the past as a biography of who this man is.

Today Kerry said Bush should tap into the strategic oil reserve to lower gas prices despite the fact Kerry voted against doing that in the past. Kerry also said that today is the highest gas prices ever in the US, the truth is that the highest gas prices were in the Jimmy Carter era at 2.91 a gallon in today's dollars.

2 lies just today.

I'll try but my nature is one of extreme excess. I'm always getting into trouble because of my big words.

My pony isn't up to holding my weight so I'm guessing you have great faith in this four legged animal. Leading a charge to the "Casa Blanca" is not feasible. It's bad enough I've got to be out of the house from 5:30am until 8:30pm so that I can make a living. What I'm doing now is called quality time or a diversion from reality. Because this cyberworld is without substance unless I find a Russian mail-order bride.

Too many Fairy Tales?

None the less the hype has turned some heads and just might motivate skins to get 2 the polls....Just for the basic idea of exercising the right.....NO PUN INTENDED.....

Guess it's a lesser of 2 evils.....

Oh and Quick Silver that was not intended for you....But gotta like your Reply...Never a dull moment here?

Oh by the way Gache will the Revolution be Televised?

Sadly, but most of what each canidate says about the other canidate is true only to a point. As with anything a quote or action is taken out of context, paraphrased at best, or simply left out of the actual subject it was about.

However, I can say this from hard research (Congressional Records and Files) very little Native American Legistation is passed in a Republic Administration. Practically all Native American Law and Native American Legislation or help for us us has/was passed in a Democratic Administration.

Yep. That is why I never figured out why a native would be Republican. Alot of tribes were registered that way b/c the govt registered them as such. So many elder natives are Republican but that wasn't their decision, and they never wanted to bother with changing affiliations, which, can you blame them??? The way our elders were treated I can see why they wanted nothing to do with white gov't and their stupified policies!!

Coyot in the House: What a nice tidbit of information you've given. I will now steal your mi-lah-hahnska's Sharpe Knife and use him to edify Bush II and Bush father.

Yes but us history buffs know that the reason they voted republican during that time is b/c the Republican party back in Jackson's time, WAS the liberal group. It wasn't until the time of Roosevelt that the party switched ideas and the Democrats became the more "liberal" party and the GOP became the conservatives...it was a strange but revolutionary process that brought us to the two groups of today.
Just some info that I actually learned in college history and retained...*L*
Just don't ask me anything that has to do with MATH!!!!!! LOL

CandaePrincess: Of course you won't be tested. We are all here to share and have a memorable day in light of the fact that we're toiling away our lives working 8 to 10 hours a day just so that we can live until the next month.

coyote is the trickster

yeah you think on multiple levels when you say stuff just like the trickster lol.

Thune in south dakota said something interesting the other day on indian country news. He said that tribal nations need more autonomy from the government and less BIA and IHS interference. The BIA historically has been the greates impediment to progress on the reservations. I for one like that idea. Daschle just gave crap about meeting people and facilitating more meetings ug I think indians have had too many meetings. If the republican party has switched its position and will give us more autonomy I will vote for them just not in this election until they do it.

Cool

Indian Peoples need to be self sufficient.....Certain different circumstances at play here and that is definitely a blanket statement.....Very broad at best, but the idea is important. Considering how dependant we are on a number of things. This stands true for a number of peoples......

Gache you give me more credit then I deserve?

Remember what Frankie said......."Relax"

Cause all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.......

I hear you though....Now when that time does come to be serious........I'll still be smiling.....Just me.....Oh yeah and it's right around the corner, closer then many of us think.....
