First Annual Cheyenne and Arapaho Gourd Dancers Powwow (1970) transcripts.

Stumbled across these transcripts on the web of the First Annual Cheyenne and Arapaho Gourd Dancers Powwow from forty years ago. Thought they were interesting, and maybe some of you will, too.

Ah-ho for posting this! Really interesting moment in time captured in the articles here. Thats my Cheyenne grandpa Walter "Sparky" Hamilton providing some of the info here and my Kiowa grandpa Jimmy and Anna Anguoe were singing there (Sunday). There were more goot C-n-A head singers they left out from that era like Ed WhiteTunder and Frank Pendleton.

Cool. That's really neat and I recognize some of those names too. That's pretty neat.
