not around a nac just wanting to know if gourd dancing is part of it , iknow they use the gourd rattle and fan like in the gourd dance

The interrealation would most likely be the colors and the belief that are in both the church and the ground dance. both back in the day were used mostly for the vets and the ground dance would be like the way we see our enemy and the church is to pray for the warriors safe keeping.

not interested in the church was just woundering how they came to use the gourd rattles ,fans etc that are used in gourd dancing

I'm not an expert of either NAC or Gourd dance. But from what I understand that Gourd dance tends to use only the metal cans for gourds. While as part of NAC you use only real gourds. True Native American Church members that have gourds, fans or anything else they may have only for NAC. If by chance they partake in Gourd dance as well, they have a different set of gourds, fans and other items to use.
