Miss_Kiowa 02-26-2004 12:27 AM

Guys that dance like this:

It's a Kiowa dance, and it's non-contest. There's a information section on it if you click "Singing and Dancing" right up on that top bar thingy then click the link for Gourd Dancing.

SBZ4life 02-26-2004 12:36 AM

its a kiowa dance....with gourds, a drum and bunch of kiowas

Miss_Kiowa 02-26-2004 12:42 AM

That description beat my picture... my picture didn't show the drums.

Maybe they eat Kidney beans raw! Sounds crunchy! :Chatter

bl@ckfoothoney 02-26-2004 03:57 PM

eww raw kidney beans

Miss_Kiowa 02-26-2004 04:10 PM

Nope, raw beef kidneys (or buffalo, too, on the rare occasion that one of those is made into food). Not just at gourd dances... anytime of day, any season of the year. *lol*

Not one of my picks, but there sure are a lot of other Kiowas who still like those. My guess is they're anything BUT crunchy. :p

storm 02-26-2004 04:36 PM

Raw, ok.
roasted Kidney ummmmm. But ya have to parboil the pi$$ out of them first or they make thier own gravy when you roast em. If ya know what i mean.

bl@ckfoothoney 02-26-2004 06:14 PM

are you serious.....?.....that just made my tummmmmy turn

storm 02-27-2004 02:25 PM

Bote is cow intestine, cleaned and turned inside out, stuffed with fat and meat then boiled. Like indian sausage. it is GOOOOOD.

bl@ckfoothoney 02-27-2004 02:39 PM

that soundz good but how do u clean tha guts

storm 02-27-2004 02:55 PM

The good fat is on the outside of the gut. Cut a long section, turn it inside out and wash it in cool runing water three or four times. Just like preparing gut for menudo or chitlins. Stuff it,tie the ends and cook. You will have to ask a Kiowa to get the secret recipie for the inside stuffing.

bl@ckfoothoney 02-27-2004 03:29 PM

ahh cool i wanna make that now it'z sounds so good

CactusButt 02-27-2004 03:35 PM

CactusButt 02-27-2004 03:52 PM

travelingmocs 02-27-2004 09:49 PM

bl@ckfoothoney 03-08-2004 06:33 PM

ojibwaysweetie 03-10-2004 12:23 AM

Vedde Vedde Interestink!

Awkay.....so, what is the difference between Northern and Southern Corn Soup? Hey I'm a Northerner to da bone here and luff my mama's corn soup I cannot imagine nothing better than hers :D

So, whats the difference?

SBZ4life 03-10-2004 02:36 AM

theirs is nasty, southernz arent

ojibwaysweetie 03-10-2004 11:47 AM

That is a very general statement....what is the DIFFERENCE? I'm sure I'd love it...all I am asking is what is the difference.
