Standard? Ayeeeeeeee!!

We've seen huge drums, medium-small drums, tall and shallow drums, everything in between. We've seen round, sort-of-round, octagonal, etc. etc. etc. I guess it all depends on which traditions are most influencing your group. Are your singers from the same Tribe? Are you an intertribal drum group? Have you spoken to elders and current lead singers (BIG TIME INFO SOURCES)?

Allenque,

Personally, I think a 32"- 36" DH drum is pretty much "standard." However, I suggest you consult with members of your tribe/drumming group to see what fits best. Good luck.
