Fav Southern

I'd have to say Young Bird, Curtis Hamilton can write some songs. That Cree number on Change of Life: Sweetgrass Blues is hella tight. Still trying to figure out them Cree words since I don't speak it. I also really dig YellowHammer. That Jimmy Jr. jam on their new CD brings tears to ones eyes.

being a northerner and listening to Northern beats all my life, finally I am exposed to Southern style music. This is quite an awakening, mind you.

The group that absolutely kills me are the Cozads ... *whew* Talk about some mind-blowing mens fancy dance songs.

Beyond that, they're the only ones that really rock me!

I have to say my favs are Southern Thunder, then Yellow Hammer, then Cozads. I haven't heard the other groups mentioned on here....where can I get their CD's?
