I've dropped them, my lil one has played wih them and I've not spilled any beads yet. (knocking on wood):D I think each box cost me like $5. Think I like is they are all clear plactic so I can see what size they.
Thats what i use!

Becca the idea of starting a quill work forum came up a year or two ago and we realized, although a lot of us are interested in seeing quill work and learning quill work. There aren't enough people who actually do quill work to keep a forum going.

But if you are volunteering to do a introduction to quill work, I'm positive there are a number of us who would be interested!!!!!!!!;)

I use the Tackle boxes with the clear plastc inserts too, or the plastic medicine containers with screw on lids (for bigger items).

I have waaaay too many sizes and colors of beads that I just buy the 100-count package of 3 x 5" ziploc bags. I actually like dumping the bags out of their plastic boxes and mooshing them around to come up with possible color combinations. The drawback is that eventually a hole will spring in a corner or seam of a bag and I lose some beads until I discover the leak. But the bags are so cheap, its not a big deal to replace. For travel, I simply put my ziploc-ed bead bags into a sturdy box or tupperware, and I'm off!

bead storage

I like the containers from crystal light [there are 2 sizes] and, don't gag, the specimen containers from work, [I have pockets] they are perfect with real tight screw on tops. they are after all intended to have some rather yucky stuff in them and not leak or come apart.
granted the crystal light containers don't have real secure tops but they are big and free.
I use a pie pan with a round piece of felt cut to fit the bottom to bead from and after I am done I can use the felt to pour back into the container, like a funnel.
