We go outside (have a fenced-in yard) and a dog that runs around with him.

We watch some TV--shows like Dora and Blue's Clues (shows that try to teach them some things).

We color with crayons, markers, and finger paint. Play Doh is also a big hit (all things you need to supervise, of course).

Reading books, he's learned both his big and little letters, so we're working on phonics now. He LOVES to play hide and seek! Also games like "guess which hand it's in" and stuff like that. He's now getting into toy cars too--likes to see them go CRASH! And playing with Legos is a big hit as well. The other day we made ice in the ice cube trays and he thought that was the coolest!

Ummmm. . .pretty much anything that does not allow you to have free time, yep, that's what they're into. :Chatter And also, mine (turned two at the end of September) has now started asking "what's that?" to EVERYTHING--even things he knows! I know the "why's" are what I have to look forward to next. :Help

Be jealous of me, Because I have a two year old son (just turned two), thank god I don't have any trouble discipline wise, like at school... he gets a little hyper at times but most of the time, he's chillin.:Angel2

just keep em occupied... lots of positive attention like reading and coloring and toy playing..or if you need the break, the tv. I know what you mean by curiious and alwasy into something... mine was/is the same way and there's days I wanted to tear my hair out! But, if you play with them alot, they wear out good and take nice long naps! And building blocks, he's the right age to start out with the duplo or megablox and those keep them WAY entertained!

I have noticed that in my daughter who is 3 yrs and very smart and curious, if she gets bored with something that isnt intriguing her she then miss behave or do stupid things that baffle me. what i do is keep her interested with things that make her mind work and keeps her interested. I do notice that when she is at school she acts like is totally whatever lol dumb at times. Mostly because they are not challenging her enough. i think when a smart child is bored or dont like being the smart one they misbehave. at school there are some parents that dont teach there kids anything so instead of the teacher teaching writing, reading and letters they are showing them how to wash their hands, dish themselves open milk and even put there jackets. anyways just keep him interested in things that make him think and use his mind stuff like flash card, memory game. but him being 2 everything is interesting . so ok i ramble

My little guy loves to take a handrum off the wall and then he'll tell me "Mommy! My song!", so I have to put on Northern Cree's Snag Bag Special. One time I put on Eyabay's Thuggin an' Snugglin and he damn near whacked me over the noggin with the stick.

So he'll warm up with a few rounddances and then he'll look at me and say "Mommy! Another one", that's my cue to put on some Bear Creek, he'll sit the drum on his lap and sing his little heart out. I have never seen anything more beautiful then a two year old trying the best he can to follow the song (with his little heay's, ho's, wayaheya's, etc)) while making a strained face with his little vocal cords swelling. Awwwww, juss cute.

He also likes to read bullshyt magazines (Enquirer, Star, etc)

My daughter will be hitting the TERRIBLE TWO'S at the end of February.... She is curious and always getting into things but there are times is acts like a little grandma. Juss sitting there like a good lil girl...........

She is only 20 months now and when she wants to play dumb/stupid with me....... she puts her hands on her hips and says "what?" or "why?"

She loves to run around outside! Reminds of this past weekend... By bro was over visiting and he and his "girlfriend" were walking around and he picked up a snake. My girl tried to take it from him... She was amazed with the snakes tongue....eeewwww snakes

I have a 3 year old niece and a 7 year old nephew, so she learns alot from the both of them.

She is one smart lil girl.

Busy is the key . An those building blocks were the best thing they ever made.
An the drum JIbb that is just to cute to picture .
all my kids an grand kids are past the twos , now I can rest up till the great grands come along . Maybe by then I will be able to handle the two's again.
But the key is finding something that holds there intrest long enough for you to take a breath.:D

we were at a powwow not too long ago the little guy runs out into the arena and starts dancing with the bigguns and of course all the old people think its the best thing in the world but sheesh lol.

Then he goes up to every old person and gives them grass.

But the worst of all is the endless pulling out the plugs and then sticking them back in.

My daughter never went thru terrible twos so I was unprepared for a boy lol.

As we speak he just found a finger nail clipper and is tryig to figure it out.

be right back lol
