Even as a little kid, I never thought any particular age was old, or that parents or grandparents were "old."
++++++++++++ I'm the youngest of three brothers...most of my classmates in elementary through high school were the oldest child in their families. So my parents were older than just about everyone else's. ++++++++++++ If people are gonna dye their hair...they need to commit to it. I hate that skunk look so many women have. If you're gonna take the time to dye your hair, take the time to touch up your roots! ++++++++++++ Avon makes some good anti-aging products. ++++++++++++ A few weeks ago I was at a conference and someone I hadn't seen for a couple years came up to me and asked me where I kept my "picture of Dorian Gray!" lol |

Sometimes i forget things my children have told me durning the year....like asking them for their SS number over and over. i DO write it down...but somehow it always gets “lost”!
i used to be so organized....now the best i can do is make sure to pay my bills and toss everything into one of those plastic bins to ‘look over later’....which never seems to come! |

![]() I do that too! Except I have a cardboard box instead of a plastic bin that I throw everything into to "look over later." And, yeah, "later" never comes! ![]() |

lol talk about age changing perspectives....I remember when I was younger and I thought hanging with the boys and drinkin' 40's was cool. Now I just laugh and shake my head when the lil' boys come over and drink 40's with my son-in-law.
I remember driving around and not thinking anything of it, going to see my sister here, stopping there to pick up this or that, now I'm like, NO you can't use the car, I only have enough gas to last out the week...hahahaha I remember when tall hair was in, corduroy jeans where the style, bangles, large hoop earrings, and flared jeans were cool....Now I see them again and I'm like, really! Been there done that, got the pics....

i was watching TV yesterday and heard a reference to something from the 1950’s as an ANTIQUE!
to me something antique is from the 1800’s and older. Otherwise its just old. ANTIQUE!...does that mean im not really old...but ANTIQUE?! ![]() |
