If I'm at home I start a fire and boil some coffee. When I'm in the city in our apartment I get my our magic pots set up before I go to bed and set the timer for 5 am. She who oversleeps gets cold coffee.

If you write that song, please share it.

LOL! We have cats, but they don't get canned food. Feeding that to 5 of them would be a bit pricey...but they do get an occasional bit of tuna as a treat.

I no longer have blood... it has been replaced by java... if I don't get a solid 6 hours sleep soon... they will have to hook me up to a Java IV.

Monday through Friday - I don't drink coffee until I get to work. Turn on the computer, get my coffee mug. Go to the breakroom and curse under my breath because someone's taken all but about 1/2 cup and not made more! Make fresh pot of coffee. Add creamer and sugar. Drink coffee til noon then switch to Coke (-a-Cola).

Weekends - get up, wash face. Go to kitchen. Grind the beans. Make coffee in the percolator. I don't care what the experts say. I prefer to use a percolator.

I've only been to Starbucks once. That was just a few weeks ago. Coming back from Florida I had a layover in Dallas. Hadn't eaten so I went to Starbucks and got a muffin and a venti cafe mocha (or whatever they call it). OMG - they were sooooooo good!

But, no. It was good, but I don't want it every day. I like to swill my coffee! So, I just a good cup of coffee - like in the olden days before Starbucks. I don't want chocolate in it. No hazelnut. No peaches 'n cream. No nothing except some sugar and cream. No offense anyone, but:

Flavored coffee is for women & (w)ussies!

Whenever I've had just regular Starbucks coffee it sucked!!! It was nasty and bitter. I don't know how people drink that crp!

The last time, and really any other time I went into Starbucks, it was for their mocha frappacino frozen thing, and even then it was only because my sister worked there and I happen to be driving through that town. I have tried their normal coffee and there's nothing special about it. Personally I prefer a Colombian roast coffee as, with any dark roast, it is less irritating on the stomach.

The way I see it people who buy coffee at Starbucks are doing it for the same reason why people will only buy Apple products, that is they are doing it because the brand itself is a "Hip" brand to be seen with -a status symbol. Every time I go into the city, be it NYC or Philly, and see these guys who think scarves and designer jeans with holes purposely made into them are "cool", standing around holding their iPhone out in front of them with their stupid white earbuds and drinking the biggest Starbucks coffee so everyone can see them and their designer crap it makes me just want to pick up a newspaper box and throw it at them or push them into traffic... LOL yeah I'm a devil sometimes....

I like to make coffee at home, in the evenings..with a little tiny touch of cinnamon with the grind before perking...........it's lovely on a cool evening, especially by my fireplace!!!

This morning I had a nice coffee ceremony that included the long anticipated...opening of the new can of coffee...even if it was the 1/2 CAF...I had to inhale the excaping aroma before it diffused.

Then I empty out the water in the coffee carafe and DH's 1/2 gallon coffee thermos (he will not let me wash them out with soap), start the coffee, and listen to the fizz/plopp/sizzle until the coffee is ready.

Then I watch him fix his first cup and then the thermos full...while I try not to think about the chai tea fixings I forgot to pick up. I'm missing coffee...might just try out some SANKA.
