You don't really mean real teeth, do you? That would be creepy.

My Shirley Temple doll has plastic teeth, but I am pretty sure she is harmless. I keep her in a drawer in my dresser with her clothes and she has never tried to get out...to my knowledge.

I gave my Pooh bear to my kids. I think he is in a laundry basket in my daughter's room.

I had a dream about my Pooh bear once. I used to collect comic books about a character named "Morbius the Living Vampire". I drew a picture of him and hung it on my bedroom wall.

One night, I dreamed that he was going to suck my blood out, but my Pooh bear saved me. He and all my other teddy bears sat in a semi-circle in the hallway and Morbius couldn't get past their cuteness. It was anathema to him.

They saved me. All dolls are not bad.

Dang, with a playhouse like that you must have been the envy of every kid around.

I loved my teddy bears when I was a kid! It was kinda traumatic when my great-grandmother's poodle decided to disembowel one one day! But my favorite stuffed animal was a small stuffed owl named "Witty."

When I was about 3 I had a stuffed elf named Elmer. He was green with one of those plasticy faces some dolls have. He was my favorite...until I had a nightmare about him. After that, I wouldn't have anything to do with him, and he was relegated to the bottom of the toy box.

lets get away from the doll paranoia....here is another thing that makes me wonder. when i talk on the land phone, i hear a lot of clicking sounds sometimes. like someone is listening in. my son has heard it too!

I may have to rethink making myself a BAMF doll:

BAMF doll... aka Nightcrawler - TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS

BAMF by ~LycanLover on deviantART

Stuffed Bamf Toy

It could get creepy.

Sorry, Apachefire, I noticed and was going to respond but was sidetracked by memories of earwigs!

I've heard it, too. For quite a number of years actually. It isn't everytime I use the phone, but it does happen pretty regularly.

The Feds sometimes test surveillance equipment domestically. But the clicking happens so regularly that I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with Homeland Security.

I swear I'm not a Muslim terrorist, really I do!

Back when i was dating a cali man, his phone was way tapped! Constant clicks. We used to attempt to shock the operators to help make their jobs more interesting, talking crudely or dirty

What about blackballing>? Im so paranoid about that, my friends are rebels in indonesia but once government put their names on a list i had to stop associating with them :(
I miss them terribly, but once blackballed you will be on every countries most wanted list, and worse case scenario you are not allowed to leave the country ever! and if u do make it out dont expect to get back in.

I went to school with a woman whose parents were dissidents and had defected from the Soviet Union.

She said they were constantly under surveillance here by the CIA/NSA. Not just telephone either. Actual physical surveillance. They did the same thing, they'd say outrageous things on the telephone and stuff just to mess with the Feds.

Even creepier, she said that the Feds barely bothered to conceal the surveillance, and would mess with them too. They'd come home to find things moved around, that kind of stuff.

Me? No-o-o! Sorry, I should have used more smileys. My land-line phone does click a lot. I actually think the reason is poor/crumbling infrastructure; I don't live in the best part of Austin.

When I first noticed the clicking, it weirded me out a little. But anyone who wants to watch me has way too much time on their hands! It'd get real boring real quick!

That Russian girl I went to school with - I think she exagerrated the surveillance her parents were under, but I do believe that the Feds probably kept a close eye on them - after all, they were defectors during the height of the cold war.

A number of years ago, we had that problem at work. We'd come in in the morning and things would be just a little bit "off." You know when you can't quite put your finger on it, but you can tell things are different; a drawer cracked open when you were sure you shut it, that type stuff. This went on for a couple weeks, then we came in one morning and the office was "destroyed." Drawers pulled out of desks and dumped on the floor, potted plants pulled out of their pots and strewn around, files thrown around, etc.. Then we got a couple bomb threats. We figured out who it had to have been, but never could prove it was them. Basically, we had a mentally ill "client" who was deliberately messing with us. He would get into the office by crawling up through the ceiling and over the walls! We had to have "fencing" installed up in the ceiling around our suites. Let me tell you, THAT was scary. We were all paranoid for awhile!

no, i believe that someone was messing with us when things were moved around.
Different spirits...different solutions!

When I was little, I was terrified of my bedroom. I had a huge L-shaped walk-in closet and the door was right by my bed. The closet always kinda gave me the creeps. It didn't help that the cats (the dogs didn't mind) would sometimes just sit in front of the closet door staring at it and growling! I might have been dreaming, but I swear one night I heard scratching coming from inside the closet! True story. I kid you not!

As soon as my elder brothers moved out, I moved into their bedroom!
